Laying the Foundation that Leads to Success!
The Minority Education Initiative (MEI), is a non- profit organization, made up of educators, policymakers, professionals in the public and private sector and other individuals committed to ensuring that secondary and post-secondary educational opportunities are appropriate and accessible to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The mission of MEI is to increase awareness, access, and actualization of a college degree for minorities as a means of improving quality of life. Through workshops, trainings, and conferences we hope to bring attention to this important topic.
Our Team
Implementing successful programs to enhance the institution's capacity to serve more low- and middle-income Black American students is both a science and an art form. It starts with people – whether it’s an outside vendor, local employee, or head of a department – everyone must be in alignment with the department's goals. MEI is continually looking at new ways to help programs deliver more value to their students today, tomorrow and 20 years from now.
Truly sustainable growth is only achievable through an effective, well-planned strategy that keeps an institution and grant on the right trajectory. At Minority Education Initiative, we help each and every one of our clients to secure this status, developing and implementing strategic growth and value creation plans focused on maximizing the future for our clients and their students.
